Among a list of 9 talented bands from Iowa, Texas, and Missouri, VonAmp will become the featured band Friday night 5/6/11 (their performance time is 11:15 p.m.) at the AC Brase Arena in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Special thanks to Lord Kirby Ray for organizing and planning this fine event. You can hear Lord Kirby Ray on RealRock 99.3 in Southeast Missouri ...or attend the second night of this benefit concert (5/7/11) because he is one of the power players in the band Emaciation. Saturday night's show boasts 12 talented bands performing from 3:00 to Midnight (VonAmp goes on at 9:20 p.m.). Among these bands, Saturday night's featured act is "Emaciation" who is true rock artistry in motion. According to the YAF of New York, the Spring 2011 Tour has been postponed and possibly canceled for this year due to budgetary concerns. We'll keep you posted on any updates. VonAmp performed on the JJHS stage in April 2011. VonAmp is a major supporter of the Music in Our Schools Programand they were asked to perform in aSpecial Featureat the end of the JJHS Talent Show. The band also provided the school with their sound. The2011 JJHS Talent Showincluded ultra-talented performers including dancers, a puppeteer, a yoyo master, a hula hoop champ, several bands & many vocalists. D.J. Chris Berger, of Z95.5 The Bone, invited VonAmp into the radio station for a "live" interview. We rocked out a couple of songs "live" on the air. We thought we'd bring in some metal (and tone it down a bit with less power and equipment so we didn't overpower the system)....We had a great time. We've uploaded our "live" performance from the Z95 show too, so please check that out.
We had a great time and D.J. Chris Berger was ultra cool and he has one of the greatest radio voices that we've ever heard!!!!!!! Z95 ROCKED!!!!! If you're in the Poplar Bluff, Missouri area listen to 95.5FM - they play great rock & roll (new and old school). Thanks for checking out our video.
VonAmp performed "live" at the Z95 Radio Station in Poplar Bluff, Missouri (USA). We had a great time! Please not that we were only allowed to bring in the bare basics of our band set-up. This song is a lot more powerful when you hear us perform it "live" with our complete band set-up. Special thanks to DJ Chris Berger.
VonAmp is at practice and being interviewed by Tony's dad. It's freezing cold outside. They're recording their new song, "One Day, One Hour, One Minute" and you'll hear it playing in the background. Taylor (guitarist, back-up vocalist) just purchased a new portable recording system and the band is laying down tracks. While setting up, funny bloopers, jokes, and messing around are always a part of VonAmp's routine. Great entertainment and lots of fun to watch!
In the video, Nik was kidding about the soft drinks. He probably drinks more of both of those drinks than all of us combined. Monster Energy and Mountain Dew RAWK!!!! But we gotta say, Nik was hilarious!

Teen rock band, VonAmp, rocked Webster Hall in New York City on Oct 9th, 2010. The concert footage was shot with a camcorder at Webster Hall. We filmed the motorcycle stunt drivers (also known as street racers) near St. Louis. Please Do NOT try these motorcycle stunts - these are trained professionals. Anyway, we think these stunt drivers are cool to watch and we wanted to combine their stunts into a music video for our song called, "The Race"... IT'S A WILD MUSIC VIDEO!

Welcome to VonAmp's Blog
VonAmp performed at the historic Webster Hall in the East Village of New York City on October 9th, 2010. The concert was held in the downstairs portion of Webster Hall called The Studio which carries on the legacy of the 1950s and 60s when Webster Hall became the live recording home of RCA Records, and where legends such as Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and Bob Dylan made rock and roll history. VonAmp’s members have been performing professionally for three years now. In 2009, VonAmp rocked the SHOW ME CENTER (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), opening for Ludo (a band signed by Island Records with appearances on MTV, MTV Cribs, the Tonight Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.) Since its inception in the 1980’s, the Show Me Center had only allowed 2 unsigned acts to take their stage (so VonAmp was ecstatic to hear that they would be performing at the 7,000 seat arena in April 2009).
VonAmp’s fall 2009 performance at Jackson Homecomers Concert (MO) was sponsored by Monster Energy® and the band gave away a truckload of Monster® gear. VonAmp's tours also include concerts for Missouri and Kentucky Schools – and VonAmp is a huge supporter of the Music in our Schools Program. The school officials at Fulton County Kentucky told our crew that many of their girls cried when VonAmp packed to go home. The band has been at this a while.
If you look around on our VonAmp web site, you'll get a pretty good understanding of who we are. The Youth Arts Forum posted an amazing article about our band. Barry Salottolo, founder of the Youth Arts Forum (NYC) writes:

Whether their lyrics take us to the rice fields of Vietnam in The Veteran’s Song, or upon a riverboat in their song Mississippi, you will feel the pain that resonates from the voice of their lead singer, Tony Busey. Pristine lead guitar solos rage from Taylor Barrett’s guitar, while Nik and Collin keep the cool rhythms flowing smoothly. In several songs, Tony picks up the guitar and blankets the crowd with some classic rock solos, and oftentimes he and Taylor will be dueling solos from across the stage.
